Plumbing Inspection

WE WILL CHECK:

  • Water pressures to make sure everything is working correctly

  • That the contacts in the pressure regulating valve are doing what they are supposed to be doing. The pressure is adjusted to the customer’s home requirements.

  • If there is no water softener, there will likely be a lot of scale build up. We will look at cartridges and tubs, basin faucets, kitchen sinks and laundry sinks.

  • What kind of water pipe is in your house. Some insurance companies want to see that there is no Poly-B pipe in your house.

  • To ensure the pressure tank pump is operating correctly (a well-only option).

THIS ENSURES:

  • Peace of mind that you’re safe and completely comfortable in your home.

  • The risk of floods, mould, or hot water scalds are greatly reduced.

Natural Gas Heating

WE WILL COMPLETE AN INSPECTION ON YOUR:

  • Filter

  • Furnace

  • Flame rod

  • Controls

WE WILL:

  • Have a look at the duct work (Rotobrush)

  • Return air systems (the cold part coming into the furnace) and make sure it’s sized adequately.

  • Check the furnace’s cleanliness and see if it is functioning correctly.

THIS ENSURES:

  • You receive dependable heat - especially important during our cold months.

  • Dust, bacteria, mould spores and mites are addressed.

  • Fire hazards are reduced.

Wood Furnace Inspection

WE WILL COMPLETE AN INSPECTION ON YOUR:

  • Ductwork and ensure the controls are operating properly.

  • Controls on your wood heating appliances that control your fan on and off and make sure they are appropriately set.

WE WILL:

  • Ask what kind of wood are you burning (if there is a build-up of creosote, it can start fires inside the furnace, stove, or inside the chimney).

  • Show you how to set your furnace fan if the firebox is not hot enough to burn off any creosote buildup.

THIS ENSURES:

  • You receive dependable heat - especially important during our cold months.

  • Fire hazards are reduced.
